Japanese natural beauty brand SHIRO unveiled three new products inspired by Hokkaido’s nature, using locally sourced Hidaka kombu (히다카 다시마) and rawan burdock/butterbur (라완 머위). Two items highlight Hidaka kombu—a nutrient-rich kelp variety from Hiroo Town high in vitamin A—offering a lighter, refreshing texture and long-lasting hydration compared with the brand’s previous kagome kombu. The Hidaka kombu sheet mask balances moisture for firmer, glowing skin, while the All-in Serum blends kombu extract, aloe, and tamanu oil into a cream-like formula without emulsifiers to reduce skin burden. The Butterbur Cleansing Cream uses generous rawan burdock sap from Ashoro Town to remove makeup and oil without tightness, boosted by laurel berry and flaxseed oils for added moisture. SHIRO says early user feedback praises Hidaka kombu’s lasting hydration and that the butterbur cleanser delivers gentle, soft results for sensitive skin.
