National Museum Brand MU:DS Collaborates with Traditional Confectioner for APEC 2025 Limited Edition

MU:DS, the cultural goods brand of the National Museum of Korea, partnered with traditional dessert maker Buchang Bakery to launch an APEC 2025 limited edition collection. Revealed on April 23, the collaboration celebrates the upcoming APEC summit in Gyeongju by merging Korean cultural heritage with traditional sweets to promote the idea that "the most Korean is the most global." A pop-up store opens April 24 at Shinsegae Gangnam (department store), and items will be released via Buchang Bakery’s Instagram afterward. The limited set includes signature MU:DS pieces like the "Smile of Silla" pouch, tiger tray, celadon (Korean glazed pottery) keyring, and celadon cup set, along with a seasonal "purple honey sweet potato walnut pastry gift set" sold only during the pop-up. Company leaders said the project aims to symbolize the global reach of Korean culture and establish a new standard for K-food by blending tradition and modernity.
