Veteran Seoul punk-rock band Crying Nut marked their 30th anniversary at a press briefing on Oct. 22, announcing a special exhibition and concert series at Hongdae Sangsangmadang running Oct. 25–Jan. 31. Debuting in 1995 at the live club “Drug” (a Hongdae live music venue), the band has kept the original lineup and credits their breakout song “Let’s Ride” with building their fanbase after it spread by word of mouth. The exhibition “Let’s Ride” will feature unreleased memorabilia and new artwork, while shows in the venue’s B2 live hall include Crying Nut and guest performances by Kim Chang-wan (Oct. 28), Jannabi (Oct. 29), Jang Kiha (Nov. 10) and Kim Soo-chul (Nov. 11).
