The Daegu Ayang Handmade Festival is set to kick off on the 26th and will run till March 4 at Ayang Gallery. This event, hosted by the Daegu Dong-gu Cultural Foundation's Ayang Art Center in collaboration with local art associations, aims to showcase diverse handcrafted artworks and offer hands-on experiences to the public. The festival highlights the artistic value of crafts made by hand, which are becoming less common due to technological advancements. It includes displays of over 100 craft works by 35 artists and offers activities like traditional Korean folk painting on fans, engraving family mottos, and making silver rings from March 1 to 3.
