Hoesudaok (回水茶屋), a local premium tea house in Seogwipo, Jeju, has been selected as one of Jeju’s new ‘Unique Venues’ and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Exhibitions) tourism products by Jeju Province and the Jeju Tourism Organization. Located in the historic Hoesudong area, the tea house features organic Jeju leaf and flower teas served in Jeju volcanic clay pots (onggi) and offers seasonal K-style local tea foods. Its signature program, “Premium Tea Matkimgcharim” (a curated multi-course tea tasting), pairs over ten types of local tea foods and five organic teas with explanations from the tea master, emphasizing a slow, immersive experience in Jeju’s nature. Hoesudaok can host private events for up to 40 people and is conveniently near ICC JEJU and Gangjeong cruise port, making it suitable for MICE programs. Customized takeaways include limited-edition tea bags for domestic guests and traditional onggi tea cups as souvenirs for international visitors. Hoesudaok has already hosted international delegations and environmental discussions, strengthening its reputation as a representative Jeju wellness and cultural venue.
