Gwangju City to Host 'Gonjiam Ox-Head Soup Street Festival' on Nov 2Creatrip Team

Gwangju City in Gyeonggi Province will hold the third annual 'Gonjiam Someribigukbap (ox-head soup) Street Festival' on November 2 in Gonjiam-eup. The festival opens with a performance by the municipal Gwangjiwon Nongak ensemble and features retro dance singer "Bokgo Ajae" (retro pop performer) and city ambassador Marcus Kang. Cultural programs include an orchestra by Manseon Elementary, local community center stages, performances by local singers the Sook & Eun-bin sisters, and an interactive show by the Boom Beat Brass Band from Gyeonggi Arts Center. Visitors can enjoy a photo zone, river market, a traditional five-day folk market (minsil 5-day market), and discounted Gonjiam someribigukbap sold first-come at 10,000 won (normally 15,000 won). Lottery prizes and other activities are planned to engage attendees.
