Busan’s Winter Food Festival ‘Christmas Village’ Returns This Year

A month-long food-themed winter festival, “Christmas Village Busan,” will run from Nov. 27 to Dec. 25 at the outdoor plaza of the Busan Cinema Center. Returning after a successful first year that drew about 80,000 visitors, the event will feature some 70 local F&B (food and beverage) brands and about 40 lifestyle vendors, set in a Nordic-style Christmas village with hands-on experiences and shopping. Celebrity chef Kang Leo will serve as festival ambassador and menu mentor, while a “Santa Village Gift Shop” will offer unique gifts. Organizers aim to make the festival a must-visit winter tourism attraction for Busan.
