Seoul’s Gangseo District will host a series of neighborhood (마을) fall festivals from Oct. 24 to Nov. 8 across 10 locations. Events include K-pop performances, AI robot experiences, recycling workshops, and tastings of North Korean cuisine, with each district offering unique resident-driven programs. The schedule begins with the 'Ieum Concert' in Deungchon 3-dong on Oct. 24, followed by six festivals on Oct. 25—such as the Residents’ One-Heart Festival (Yeomchang-dong), AI & Music Festa (Hwageok 6-dong), and Balsan Cultural Festival (Balsan 1-dong). In November, highlights include the 'Big Neighborhood Small Concert' in Hwageok 1-dong on Nov. 5 and recycling and harmony cultural festivals on Nov. 8. Details are available on the district office website. The mayor hopes these community-led events will strengthen neighborly bonds and warm communal culture.
