Jeonju, South Korea will host the 2025 Jeonju Bibimbap Festival from May 24–26 at Jeonju World Cup Stadium under the theme “Bibim Connecting the World.” The event showcases 21 bibim (mixed) dishes and a range of multisensory cultural and arts programs. Highlights include a large-scale bibim performance supporting a 2036 Summer Olympics bid, a retro Bibimbap Street featuring 21 local groups and eateries, a bibimbap parade, and a mini-Olympics challenge. Special zones include a Bibim Friends pop-up store with characterized ingredients, a bibim culture space, a UNESCO Creative Cities promotion zone, and a World Bibim Zone. Busking, traditional yard plays (madanggeuk), a treasure hunt, and a stamp-tour will provide extra entertainment. City officials invite visitors to taste Jeonju’s famous local flavors at this flagship food festival celebrating the city’s UNESCO designation as a City of Gastronomy.
