Jeju premium local tea house Hoesudaok (회수다옥) has been chosen as one of the new ‘Unique Venues and MICE tourism products’ by Jeju Province and the Jeju Tourism Organization. The venue, set in the clear-water area of Hoesudong and surrounded by Jeju forest and birdsong, serves organic Jeju leaf and flower teas in traditional Onggi (earthenware) pots using volcanic Jeju soil-grown ingredients. Its signature experience, the “Premium Tea Matgim (curated tea course),” pairs more than 10 types of K-style Jeju local tea foods with five organic teas and guided brewing—an accessible wellness program popular with international visitors. Located near ICC JEJU (Jeju International Convention Center) and the large Gangjeong cruise port, Hoesudaok can host private events for up to 40 people, making it well-suited for MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Exhibitions) groups. For domestic guests it offers limited-edition tea bags as mementos; international guests receive traditional Onggi teacups. Hoesudaok has already hosted cultural tours for the 2025 APEC Jeju meeting and official environmental talks, reinforcing its role as a representative local cultural space. Other sites selected as MICE products include 9.81 Park, Thinking Garden, Jeju Rapp, and Hwan-sang Forest Gotjawal Park.
