Lotte World Publishes 4th Sustainability Report as It Expands Global Entertainment Role

Lotte World released its fourth sustainability (지속가능경영) report outlining 2024 ESG strategies and achievements under the slogan “A Better World.” Since declaring ESG leadership in 2021, the company created a dedicated team and concrete action plans across three ESG pillars. In Environment, Lotte World expanded ISO 14001 (environmental management) certification to five sites, pushed for greenhouse gas reductions, and adopted energy-efficient equipment. In Social, the report highlights human rights management, employee development, customer satisfaction, and community programs; it conducted its first human rights impact assessment in 2023 and launched new communication programs in 2024, while offering safety and health management consulting to partners. In Governance, the company strengthened transparency, compliance, and risk management, obtaining ISMS-P (personal information security) and ISO 27001 certifications for information security. Lotte World aims to deepen its IP business and overseas expansion, while continuing ESG initiatives, green infrastructure, and transparent governance.
