K-hair brand Morethan8 expands into US military commissaries and Albertsons Market Street

Morethan8, a Korean (K-) hair loss brand launched in 2020, has rapidly expanded to 10 countries and achieved fivefold export growth compared with the previous year. The women-focused brand—founded by entrepreneurs including a Seoul National University-trained pharmacist—targets female hair loss with formulas addressing immune decline, nutritional imbalance, scalp stress, and aging. Clinical testing showed an 83.7% improvement in hair shedding, and the product is certified by South Korea’s MFDS as a functional cosmetic for reducing hair loss; it also holds vegan and clean-beauty credentials. Morethan8 has secured placement in the U.S. Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA) network of 235 commissaries worldwide and in roughly 20 Albertsons Market Street stores, a rare achievement for a Korean hair-care brand.
