Photographers from South Korea’s Gangwon province and China’s Dandong have gathered in Chuncheon for the 2nd Gangwon‑Dandong Photographic Arts Exchange, running Oct 22–27 in the Chuncheon City Hall lobby. Organized by the Gangwon Photo Forum and supported by the Gangwon Ilbo (a regional newspaper) in celebration of its 80th anniversary, the show brings 36 photographers (18 from each region) together to share images of nature, people and everyday life. Organizers say the exhibition highlights the “power of photography” to bridge language and cultural gaps, foster friendship and encourage ongoing artistic collaboration. An opening ceremony is scheduled for Oct 23 at 11:00 AM.
