SPC Group’s bakery brand Paris Baguette opened its first Mongolian store, 'Zaisan Square' branch, on the ground floor of the Zaisan Square mall in southern Ulaanbaatar. The 90-seat premium bakery café features European-style wood interiors and offers classic French breads like croissants and pain au chocolat, locally popular items such as garlic baguette and ring doughnuts, and European desserts including eclairs and mille-feuille. Paris Baguette signed a master franchise with Mongolian food firm Foodcorp LLC and plans two more Ulaanbaatar openings this year as it pursues a strategy of premiumization, localization, and differentiation in a fast-growing Mongolian food and café market. The brand now operates in 15 countries with around 670 stores and is expanding global production capacity, including new facilities in Malaysia and the U.S.
