Paldo Offers Gold Prizes to Celebrate 2 Billion Paldo Bibim-myeon Sales

Paldo is marking sales of 2 billion packs of its Paldo Bibim-myeon (spicy mixed noodles) with a promotion offering a total of 60 don of gold (don: traditional Korean weight unit). Buyers of a new limited-edition pack scan a QR code and enter a code to enter a draw for prizes including 20 don of gold (1 winner), 1 don of gold (20 winners), department store gift cards (200 winners), and product exchange vouchers (8,888 winners). Paldo is also running a vote to select regional specialty ingredients to consider for a “Paldo Bibim-myeon Seasonal Edition,” and 20 voters will each win 1 don of gold. The seasonal edition adds a separate soup packet so consumers can enjoy the noodles year-round; previous limited editions have sold out since the product’s 2018 relaunch. The promotion runs through the end of the year, and Paldo says it aims to reward loyal customers and continue delivering differentiated brand experiences.
