The 41st Chuncheon National Choir Competition closed on the 18th at the Chuncheon Culture & Arts Center. Organized by the Gangwon Music Association and hosted by the Gangwon Federation of Arts, Seoul WITH Choir won the grand prize, receiving the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Award and 10 million won. Daegu SoriOn Choir and Seoul Jung-gu Municipal Choir received the top awards, each earning the Gangwon Governor’s Award and 3 million won. The Chuncheon Mayor’s Awards (Excellence) went to Yesan County Choir, Together Choir, Seoul Dobong-gu Municipal Choir, and Seoul Yongsan-gu Municipal Choir, each awarded 2 million won. Gold awards from the Gangwon Federation of Arts included Bella Phil Concert Choir, Hangaram Male Choir, Everything Chorus, Dongtan Women’s Choir, Gunsan Education Office Parent Choir, and Hwacheon County Choir.
