French Crew ‘Risin’ Wins Global K-POP Competition in ParisCreatrip Team

About 1,000 fans packed Clichy’s converted basketball arena on Oct. 18 for the Global K-POP Competition Paris 2025. Seventy-seven acts entered (50 soloists and 25 groups); five soloists and five groups advanced to the final. French K-pop dance crew Risin’—about 40 members, 11 on stage—won with a mixed performance of songs by NCT 127, Meovv, and B.A.P. Risin’’s leader Riana Andrion-Pharani said the victory proved the team’s passion and hoped to train in Korea and show their style to local agencies. Runner-up Valentin Lista performed EXO’s “Love Shot.” Judges Bata and Kamel from We Dem Boyz praised the high level of skill, creativity, and teamwork, saying the contestants inspired them. The winner receives round-trip tickets to Korea, K-pop training, and a confidential audition with a Korean agency.
