Hwadam Forest, a 165,200 m² ecological arboretum near Seoul, will hold its autumn foliage festival from October 24 to November 16. The site, made up of 16 themed gardens, showcases about 400 maple and other deciduous varieties (danpung) displaying vivid fall colors. To provide a comfortable visit, Hwadam operates a monorail for children and seniors, caps hourly admissions at roughly 1,000 and daily visitors at 10,000, and uses online reservations for entry and the monorail. Festival activities include stamp tours across theme gardens for families, seasonal souvenirs and scent diffusers inspired by Gwangjiam (Gonjiam) nature, and renewed acorn-shaped madeleines produced in collaboration with Maison M.O and Gonjiam Resort, available at on-site cafes and shops.
