Namwon Festivals Draw Crowds Despite Rain

In Namwon, North Jeolla Province, three major autumn events are running at once: the 2025 Namwon International Drone Festival with Robots, the 33rd Heungbu Festival (흥부제), and the 2025 Namwon National Heritage Night Tour (남원국가유산 야행). Despite rainy, gloomy weather, festival sites remained lively with visitors. Highlights included a youth dance contest, traditional Namwon nongak (farmers' percussion) performances, children enjoying robot dog demonstrations and robot soccer at the drone-and-robot conference, and community activities like the Heungbu–Nolbu relay games where the mayor participated with kids.
