Ensemble Natus will present a special concert on the 26th at Yeongsan Art Hall in Yeongdeungpo, Seoul. Founded in Paris in 2017, the group’s name Natus (Latin for embodiment of body and spirit) brings together musicians passionate about chamber music and performs repertoire from Baroque to contemporary. Guest artists for the Korea concerts include pianist Baek Kyung-min (Paris Conservatory coach), organist Didier Matry (Salpêtrière Saint-Louis chapel music director), and violinist Françoise Laura-Kawiak (Versailles National Conservatory professor). Violinist Park Yena will give a recital on the 27th at Yeongsan Art Hall. Park studied at Seoul National University, earned a master’s at New England Conservatory and completed the Performer’s Diploma at Indiana University. She has performed internationally as a soloist and served as a member of the Boston Philharmonic, later holding principal and guest principal positions in Korean orchestras. Her recital, titled “French, Baroque to Romantic,” features French composers spanning Baroque to Romantic eras, with pianist Jang Ji-won. Works include Leclair’s Violin Sonata No.3, Chausson’s “Poème” Op.25, and Fauré’s Violin Sonata No.1. Contact: Yein Arts Planning (02-586-0945).
