Myeongryundang’s charcoal pork rib franchise Myeongryun Jinsa Galbi held a successful donation bazaar on October 15 with franchise owners from Daegu and North Gyeongsang (Gyeongbuk). The event was the fourth stop in a nationwide franchise donation relay that began in Seoul and continued through Daejeon–Chungcheong and Gwangju–Jeolla. Around 300 franchisees from roughly 200 outlets participated, selling everyday goods at low prices to raise funds. All proceeds will be donated to support youths preparing for independent living and other vulnerable groups. The brand has an ongoing social contribution partnership with NGO World Vision (a global NGO) — a 10‑year, 3 billion KRW pledge — and says the grassroots donation relay is strengthening its reputation as a socially responsible franchise.
