Adidas Korea, in partnership with Seoul City, reopened the Huikyung 2 Riverside Park futsal pitch on Oct. 17 as part of its 'Seoul, Let's Move' (서울아 운동하자) community program. The facility had been closed after heavy snowfall damaged roof trusses and fencing, but has been renovated with strengthened trusses, a movable flood-resistant fence to cope with frequent stream flooding, and new windproof safety screens to make the space safer and more comfortable. A reopening event on Oct. 16 included a ceremony, a futsal clinic led by coaches from the Cha Bum-kun (차범근) soccer school, and participation from Adidas staff, local children’s teams and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The program emphasized inclusive access—regardless of gender, age or disability—aligning with Adidas’s global 'Make Sport Equal' vision, and featured community-focused activities like kickoff ceremonies, skills training and mini-games to foster teamwork and connection.
