Regional carrier Aero K will begin a new Incheon–Hualien (Taiwan) route on November 13, operating twice weekly (Thursdays and Sundays). The schedule departs Incheon at 11:50 AM, arrives Hualien at 1:20 PM, returns from Hualien at 2:20 PM and arrives Incheon at 5:40 PM. The new service expands connections to eastern Taiwan and makes Hualien more accessible to travelers from the Seoul metropolitan area as well as the Chungcheong region. Aero K, which is based at Cheongju International Airport and already operates Cheongju–Taipei routes, is also increasing its Cheongju–Taipei frequency to twice daily in November and adding other Incheon services to Obihiro and Ibaraki. The airline says the Incheon flights will complement its Cheongju hub, capture capital-region demand, and strengthen regional balance and international route diversity.
