Capella Hotel Group has opened the Capella Residences Seoul Club in Hannam-dong, Yongsan, a preview membership space for the Capella Residences Seoul set to open in 2028 in Heunin Village, Seocho. The club offers resident-only areas such as the Capella Living Room, a boxing club, and a library, plus public dining venues: Dining Room by Willotte led by Chef Lee Seung-joon and rooftop bar The Roof by star chef Edward Lee. The Roof marks Edward Lee’s first restaurant in Korea and will showcase community dishes planned for the residences, blending local ingredients like gochujang (Korean red chili paste) and galchi jeotgal (salted cutlassfish) with global techniques. French design house Christian Liégard designed the space around a “forest in the city” concept, pairing Korean heritage with luxury and curated art from global artists via collaboration with Galerie Thaddaeus Ropac. Capella says the club aims to offer refined, private membership experiences and luxury networking while honoring local heritage at the forthcoming 2028 residences in Heunin Village.
