Chuncheon Theatre Festival Wraps Up with “Thank You Day” of Performances and Hands-On Events

The 2025 Chuncheon Theatre Festival is closing with a community appreciation day called “Thank You Day I,” held on the 18th at Chuncheon Art Yard parking lot and Bomnae Theatre (봄내극장). The event features lively street-style acts such as a clown king show, a marching parade, a bubble show, and a drawing magic show blending art and illusion. Visitors can join varied hands-on booths—macaron cooking class, coffee experience, DIY keyring and hair accessory making, and photo frame printing—with sticker collection leading to prizes like snacks, insulated bags, neck massagers, and shopping carts. A social media “no-lose raffle” is also planned. The festival will conclude with the citizen troupe Bomnae’s “The Road Home” on the 24th and a community-focused “Thank You Day II” at Chuncheon Nonghyup Enta on December 20. Organizers say the events thank citizens for their support and celebrate Chuncheon’s growing role in Korea’s theatre scene.
