Gangbuk District, Seoul, will hold the 'Sailguro (4·19 Road) Cloud Festival' on April 17–18 in the Ui-dong 4·19 Road area to celebrate the neighborhood’s rebranding as 'Sailguro' after being selected for Seoul’s 2025 local brand commercial area program. The festival—running 2–7 PM on the 17th and 11 AM–9 PM on the 18th—promotes a “relaxed cloud path in the city” with healing and leisure programs. Activities include a ‘Cloud Wellness Playground’ for children at the Gangbuk Youth Center, a ‘4·19 Youth Cloud Stage’ featuring performances and busking by teens and university students, a quiet 'Cloud Garden' at the Modern History Memorial Hall, and resident-participation classes such as yoga, meditation, and balloon art in the 'Mind Float Classes'. Photo and food zones will also be available. The district aims to develop a cooperative commercial model involving merchants, young people, and artists and to grow Sailguro into a representative local brand area of northeast Seoul.
