The International Rescue Committee (IRC) and Korean brand The Butter will open a six-day climate crisis popup photo and video exhibition “Climate Changed My Home” from the 28th at Seoul Forest’s Understand Avenue Art Stand in Seongdong-gu, Seoul. Sponsors include Hoophop Bagel and Donggu Bat. The show displays IRC documentary photos and videos from climate-affected sites worldwide, and features an immersive shelter installation replicating living conditions of people forcibly displaced by climate change. A chapter on IRC’s climate resilience solutions shares real cases of people rebuilding lives after losing homes. From the 29th through the 2nd, IRC staff will lead docent tours twice daily at 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM; after tours visitors can join a “plogging” (picking up litter while jogging) program around Seoul Forest to take direct climate action. IRC Korea head Lee Eun-young emphasized the need for global and civic solidarity to protect the most vulnerable. The exhibition is free daily from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM; advance reservation allows skip-the-line entry. More details are on the official website.
