Moncler Jackets See Price Drop After Comedian's ParodyCreatrip Team
10 months ago
South Korean comedian Lee Su-ji sparked a trend of selling Moncler jackets at reduced prices after wearing one in a parody video. Typically sold between 1.5 to 4 million KRW, some jackets are now listed for as low as 390,000 KRW on 'Daangn' (an online second-hand marketplace). In her video, Lee portrayed a 'Gangnam school mom' and the jackets have since been dubbed the 'Gangnam parent uniform.' Though some locals now hesitate to wear the jacket in the area, others dismiss it as just a comedic act.
