Hyundai ADM, a biopharmaceutical company, is expanding the indications for its pseudo resistance treatment drug, Penitrium, to include autoimmune diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis and multiple sclerosis. This expansion follows successful preclinical trials demonstrating Penitrium's potential to treat these conditions by addressing the extracellular matrix (ECM) hardening that blocks drug access. The drug could offer a novel approach to immune system-related diseases, aiming to restore immune function through normalization of ECM. Hyundai ADM aims to present these findings at an international cancer conference, indicating potential for clinical trials.
