The Korea Tourism Organization is hosting a unique eco-friendly camping event on the uninhabited island of Dakseom, located within the Oceano Tourism Complex in Haenam, Jeollanam-do, from the 17th to the 19th. This 'Off-Grid' camping experience allows participants to stay without artificial conveniences like electricity or water, promoting 'enjoyment in inconvenience.' Dakseom, untouched since 1992, serves as a perfect backdrop with preserved natural landscapes. Participants arrive via kayak from the mainland and engage in activities such as backpacking, bushcraft, and self-sufficient camping. As night falls, the island's serene environment offers starlight and the sound of waves. The event aligns with the '2025 Jeonnam Camping & Tourism Expo,' showcasing various camping brands and programs. This initiative aims to boost the local economy through unique experiences.
