In Chuncheon, South Korea, artist Kim Soo-il's ceramic exhibition 'Trail Beyond Universe' showcases over 20 pieces exploring the intersection of human existence and the infinite universe. Held at Culture Space Station, the exhibition reveals the grandeur of the cosmos represented in blue pottery akin to the night sky. Mixing traditional pottery's elegance with high-temperature glaze experiments, Kim creates celestial-like colors and textures. The works reflect the essence of Eastern art, embodying invisible cosmic order and existence through trails reminiscent of meteor paths on their surfaces. Inspired by Eastern philosophy, each piece encapsulates life, decay, and traces of existence, resembling planets with their glazed shine. Some jars evoke landscapes, leading viewers to ponder nature and existence.
