Art historians have uncovered a hidden woman's portrait beneath Pablo Picasso's 'Portrait of Mateu Fernández de Soto' using infrared and x-ray technology. The discovery was made while preparing for an exhibition at the Courtauld Gallery in London. The hidden portrait, painted in 1901, resembles other women Picasso depicted but remains unidentified. Experts suggest Picasso painted over the original to evolve his style and due to financial constraints. The painting will be on display until May 26.
