Daejeon city, in collaboration with Daejeon Tourism Organization, introduces a demand-responsive transit system (DRT) operated buses in the Daejeon Convention District. Following a successful trial with the "Dreamsee Bus," the DRT service aims to enhance tourism and brand value by offering tailored transportation solutions. This includes real-time ride requests, multi-lingual services for foreign tourists, and special express routes during events. The initiative seeks to address public transportation gaps and connectivity issues between locations such as the Daejeon Convention Center and Expo Science Park. Rides can be booked via the "Shucle App" for 500 KRW (approximately $0.40 USD), with free rides for elementary students.
