A festival celebrating General Gang Gam-chan, a hero from the Goryeo Dynasty, will take place from October 17 to 19 at Nakseongdae Park in Gwanak-gu, Seoul. This event, known as the 'Gwanak Gang Gam-chan Festival', highlights local history and culture, and was previously designated as a 'Preliminary Culture and Tourism Festival' by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. This year's theme, 'Citizen Gang Gam-chan', aims to re-evaluate the general as an ordinary citizen of today. Key events include a memorial service, themed booths, food programs, a musical performance, a talk show, and various interactive events. The festival also includes a video and character contest utilizing AI technology.
