This fall, Seoul will become a hub for string music as some of the world's most celebrated violinists gather for performances. Dutch violinist Janine Jansen, American virtuoso Joshua Bell, Japanese violin legend Midori, Russian genius Maxim Vengerov, and French-Belgian school successor Augustin Dumay are set to perform in Korea. Jansen will play with Camerata Salzburg in November, while Bell joins the NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchestra in October. Midori, performing in Korea for the first time in 20 years, will hold a recital with pianist Ieva Jokubaviciute in November. Dumay and Vengerov will also present recitals, showcasing pieces by composers like Brahms, Beethoven, and Schubert. This series of concerts reflects an exceptional gathering of violin talent in Korea's top venues, such as the Lotte Concert Hall and Seoul Arts Center.
