The cake release coincided with Valentine's Day, prompting many 20-30 year old men to line up from early morning to buy the cake as a gift for their girlfriends. With over 300 people waiting before the shop opened, the cake has become a popular item, causing it to sell out quickly every day. The cakes are limited in availability with about 300 made on weekdays and 600 on weekends. The vibrant reaction on social media indicates its popularity among cake enthusiasts. Each cake costs 52,000 KRW (approximately $44).
