Shinsegae International's digital platform, S.I.Village, revealed that 76% of its mobile gift purchases last year were made by consumers in their 30s and 40s. This age group also showed a 54% increase in spending compared to three years ago. S.I.Village offers a range of products for gifting, from high-end luxury fashion to affordable daily essentials. The most expensive gift bought last year was a $17,000 jacket from Italian luxury brand Brunello Cucinelli. Perfumes, home fragrance products, and comfortable lifestyle items like pajamas topped the sales charts. S.I.Village plans to continue expanding its mobile gifting services to cater to the 30-40 age group's spending power despite economic challenges.
