The Democracy Movement Memorial Association, along with the Arts Council Korea, is re-performing 'Tales from Democracy' from October 15-18 at the Democracy Movement Memorial Hall in Seoul. Originally performed as the opening show for the venue in June, the production explores themes of state violence and democracy in a unique immersive format at the former Namyeong-dong detention center. The show involves an engaging experience where audiences are guided through the venue. Directed by Kim Hwa-sook and choreographed by Choi Sang-chul, it features expressive performances to portray various democratic issues. The program is free of charge, with prior registration required.
