The Korean Press Photographers Association is hosting an exhibition titled "Photos are History - Korea in the 70s and 80s" at the Yongsan Art Hall from November 13 to 20. Sponsored by the Korea Press Foundation, this exhibition features over 60 press photos capturing the dynamic transition of Korea during its industrialization, urbanization, and democratization period. The works, shot by seasoned photographers, offer a re-examination of historical moments and everyday life in Korea at the time. This exhibition emphasizes the role of photography as both a historical witness and a conveyor of universal truths found within ordinary life. The exhibit divides into themes like rural life, urban development, and women's roles, offering an intricate look at the era's societal landscape.
