A recent survey shows that 72.7% of Koreans perceive the cost of living during this year's Chuseok (a major Korean harvest festival) as having increased. The prices of processed foods, livestock products, and seafood have risen significantly, with a notable 9.2% increase in egg prices, the highest in nearly four years. Consequently, more people are opting for simplified holiday food preparations or using meal kits, which are becoming popular among the younger generation.
