The National Museum of Korea in Seoul has reopened its Prehistoric and Ancient History Gallery after a 2-year renovation. The exhibition now includes over 1,800 artifacts from the Paleolithic era (Old Stone Age) to the Goguryeo period, a major ancient kingdom in Northeast Asia. Notable exhibits include Goguryeo general scale armor and a reconstructed tomb mural. The museum has expanded the Goguryeo section by 1.7 times and introduced child-friendly learning spaces. This renovation aims to tell the history as a story focused on people's lives rather than rulers and states.
