The Daegu Kansong Art Museum in South Korea commemorates the 80th anniversary of Korea's liberation from Japanese rule with a special exhibition titled "Samcheongdodo – The Unending Tale of Plum, Bamboo, and Orchid." The exhibition, featuring pieces that symbolize resilience and cultural heritage, includes 100 artworks divided into four sections. Notable displays include "Samcheongcheop" by 16th-century royal artist Lee Jeong, showcasing the artistic harmony of painting and poetry. Also highlighted are works by other significant figures such as Lee In-sang and Kim Jin-man, a local independence activist. The exhibition runs through December 21, offering a glimpse into Korea’s artistic legacy amid its historic struggles. The museum also features permanent displays, including the masterpiece "Simsanjilk" by Yoon Du-seo. Throughout the Chuseok holiday, the museum provides extra events and cultural activities, except on the day of Chuseok itself. Visitors can enjoy a blend of historical insight and artistic achievement during this special occasion.
