The 62nd Suwon Hwaseong Cultural Festival, a prominent global festival in South Korea, concluded its 8-day journey on October 4th. The festival, themed 'Saebit Paldal', took place across the Suwon Hwaseong region from September 27th to October 4th. This year's festival featured grand and sophisticated programs, such as the water performance 'Sunyumong' inspired by the Joseon dynasty's festivities and the immersive art performance 'Jinchan', a modern reinterpretation of King Jeongjo's historic banquet. Citizens actively participated in various events, including traditional Korean games and creative activities. The 'Global Village' offered international guests unique cultural experiences, such as trying on traditional Korean costumes (Hanbok) and attending a 'Korean Alcohol Class'. Suwon City expanded the festival from the usual 3 days to 8 days to encourage more citizen participation.
