The Seohae Art Museum in Seosan is hosting the second solo exhibition of Kwon Soon-seop, a former professor at the Dongbang Graduate University, known for his dedication to the art of Ottchil (traditional Korean lacquer art). Under the theme "Seeking the Beauty of Lacquer," the exhibition presents 12 pieces that Kwon took over 20 years to complete, with each piece taking about 3 years of daily lacquer application. The exhibition, which runs until October 31, showcases Kwon's artistic philosophy of continuous creation with no definitive end, inviting visitors to explore the depth and beauty of lacquer art.
