Nihonsyu Korea is introducing a marketing campaign for Valentine's Day by pairing Japanese traditional sake 'sawa' with chocolates. These products are available in three flavors: ginger, shiso, and cola. The ginger flavor, using ginger from Kochi Prefecture, is refreshing with a spicy kick, while the shiso flavor features a unique herbal aroma that pairs well with white chocolate. The cola flavor, combined with lemon and lime, offers a citrusy tang and pairs with milk chocolate. These low-alcohol content drinks aim to attract consumers who typically do not enjoy stronger alcoholic beverages. The popularity of sake in Korea has been increasing, with imports hitting a record high last year.
