Ottogi, a leading South Korean food company, continues to strengthen the international competitiveness of domestic agriculture through its 'Korean Agricultural Co-Prosperity Project'. Initiated in 2022, the project aims to improve local farm productivity by expanding the use of domestic produce, contract farming, and Korean seed development. Collaborations have been formed with farms in regions like Icheon and Nonsan, resulting in the production of various food items featuring local ingredients, such as jams and sauces. Ottogi has also significantly increased contract farming volumes, particularly for rice and onions, and is working on developing domestic onion and strawberry cultivars. This effort aligns with Ottogi's mission to support both farmers and consumers and contribute to the future of Korean agriculture.
