The restoration of the old Jeonnam Provincial Office in Gwangju, underway since 2008, is set to complete in September. This project aims to revive the building to its 1980s state, creating a synergy with the nearby Asia Culture Center (ACC). It is expected to contribute significantly to the cultural vitality of the Gwangju and Jeonnam regions. The ACC, described as the largest complex cultural art space, is also regaining momentum with a range of exhibitions and performances planned for its 10th anniversary. The project underscores the government's focus on regional culture development, with expectations of national institutions relocating to Gwangju.
