Chef Cho Kang-rok Closes Popular Restaurant Amid Plans for a New Opening

Chef Cho Kang-rok, known for winning Korea's 'MasterChef' in 2013 and his recent appearance on Netflix's 'The Final Table', has closed his restaurant Neo in Seoul. Despite the closure, Cho plans to open a new establishment. Neo, located near Seokchon Lake (a well-known area in Seoul), was famous for its course meals and gained high demand after 'The Final Table's release, with 20,000 people trying to book as soon as reservations opened. Chef Cho continues to appear on shows, including JTBC's 'Please Take Care of My Refrigerator' and Netflix's 'Subjective Cuisine', set to air soon.
