A special exhibition 'Modern Light, Korean Empire Imperial Family Lighting' at Deoksugung Dungdeokjeon will be held from November 27 to March 3, 2025.

In this exhibition, you can catch a glimpse of the history of modern lighting that brought light to the palace shrouded in darkness at the end of the 19th century. Over 100 pieces of modern lighting fixtures, including the 'Rika Gate Chandelier' which has returned to its original location after 100 years, as well as glass lamps and candelabras, are on display. Take this opportunity to reflect on the significance of light from 100 years ago and to experience the beauty and value that lighting holds!
