The experiential program recreating royal tea and confectionery will reopen. Based on records from the Joseon Dynasty, visitors can taste court sweets and medicinal teas in the tranquil spaces of Gyeongbokgung Palace; this event is popular with both domestic and international visitors. Those wishing to participate must apply in advance through a lottery-based reservation system; the application period is from August 13, 2026 at 2:00 PM to August 20, 2026 at 11:59 PM (Korea time). The event runs from September 2, 2026 to October 26, 2026, and the palace is closed every Tuesday so no events will be held on that day.
